There have been some changes at The Lovely Teaspoon. First off... New hours! Sun 1p-6p, Mon-Tue by appointment, Wed-Thur 3p-8p & Fri-Sat 4p-9p. I also did some decorating. Check out the new window:

I also want to announce some new product. The lovely Crystal makes handmade soap and lotions as well has silkscreened shirt (Modern Monologue) and stuffed animals. The soaps and lotions are only $3 each and are selling like crazy. Many scents have already sold out! Please contact me if you would like a list of the remaining scents.

I was checking on the Covington Art Merchants website to see what kind of events are going on in Covington when I saw my artist profile under the "who are we" section.

The next Covington Art Merchant meeting is Tuesday, Dec. 11th at 7 p.m. at Flux Gallery: 124 Pike St. Covington, KY.

Just wanted to remind everyone that The Lovely Teaspoon will be hosting a public craft night for the League of Craft tomorrow, Friday, December 7th at 7 p.m.

I've been making these adorable necklaces with heart frames and images from books. I sold three of them at the CAC show and one of them was to Kaira. I listed the rest I had on etsy and sold three more. I just made a fresh batch today so go check them out. Yummy!

I set up yesterday at the CAC for the Good Design for the Holidays event and it went great. I want to do more now and that is my new goal. Here are some photos of my table.

We have a new artist in the store. Her name is Crystal and her company is called Modern Monologue. She makes silk screened shirts ($12 each) with some awesome sayings like Book Whore, Crap Wife, etc. She also has some book bags for only $10 with Book Whore on them. New designs coming soon. So I am co-organizing a group for artists and crafters in the Northern KY, Southern OH area called the League of Craft. We are meeting for a craft night on December 7th which is the same night as the First Friday Gallery Hop. If you would like to join let me know. In the meantime visit the website.

The sweet and lovely Molly notified me that my iPhone cozy was on the Contemporary Arts Center's homepage. The CAC is a museum located in Cincinnati Ohio. I will be set up on December 1st from 11a-4p in the lobby for the Good Design for the Holidays event. Come see me!!
